With cancelled travel plans since March 2020 and a Winter 20/21 Ski Holiday Season that simply did not happen, we want to give you as much reassurance, security and flexibility as possible to book ahead with confidence.

Next Winter is now on sale with flights on sale earlier than usual with flexible booking airfare conditions. Whilst there remains no absolute certainty within travel, the UK vaccine rollout should see all adults protected by this Summer and we are positive that we can look forward to a Winter Ski Holiday season in December 2021.

How will this work?

Deposits on our holidays are usually £150 per person unless otherwise confirmed at the time of booking. For all bookings made up to 1st September 2021, we are offering a no-quibble money-back guarantee on deposits paid for ground arrangements at the vast majority of our properties.

From 1st September, we will have a much better picture of how the coming Winter season will look and, at this point, all bookings will revert to the standard booking terms and conditions as detailed on our website.

If, by the 1st September, for ANY reason you decide not to travel, we will refund your deposit in full.

This applies to almost all of our Hotels and we will advise at the time of booking if your chosen Hotel is not part of this scheme.

What are Ground Arrangements? What about flights?

As a starting point, we provide the airport transfers and accommodation element of your holiday (ground arrangements) to which you or we can add flights. Most of our clients now opt to book their own flights and airlines are now offering fully flexible booking conditions. Where we book flights for you (which are protected via our ATOL), flights will be subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier – usually flexible, however our hands may be tied here in being able to offer a 100% refund. We will confirm any flight terms and conditions at the time of booking.

Is my money safe? Am I 100% financially protected?

Yes, 100%. Snowscape Ltd is a member of The Travel Trust Association (R711X) since 1999 and all clients’ monies are held in a Client Trust Account which offers 100% financial protection. Air holidays provided by us are protected via our ATOL (T7099).

What happens if I cannot travel due to COVID-19?

At the time of travel or in the 2 weeks leading up to departure, if the Foreign & Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) advise against all but essential travel to a country due to cases of COVID-19 or travel restrictions remain in place, we will offer to re-book, offer a credit note or refund your holiday.

All clients from March/April 2020 and from this last Winter season were offered refunds or re-booking options.  The Trust Account scheme has been pivotal in being able to quickly and efficiently process refunds.

Will I need to self-isolate on arrival to or return from Austria?

Currently (April 2021) travel restrictions are in place however, we anticipate these will be lifted in the coming months and will update here. International leisure travel is due to start on the 17th May at the earliest.

What is the latest with regard to Covid-19 and Travel Insurance?

It is a condition of booking that you and all members of your party have adequate Winter Sports Travel Insurance in place. Most Travel Insurance providers (Travel Extras, Allianz Assist, MPI Brokers) now offer cover against COVID-19 related cancellation and medical costs. Please check any insurance policy meets your requirements.

What happens if I am showing symptoms, test positive, have to self-isolate or my area is in local lockdown in the weeks leading up to departure?

If you have to cancel your holiday at this point, we will not be able to offer a refund as we will have liabilities with our suppliers. Travel Insurance companies are now offering cover against this scenario and you should check any policy meets your requirements. We will remain as flexible as possible in this eventuality (for example, we can look at re-booking your holiday to a later date) and can refund any ski packs pre-booked.

Will you provide COVID-19 guidelines for Hotels & Resorts in Austria?

We continue to monitor how our Austrian Partners are dealing with COVID and any guidelines will be updated on our website and in your travel information before you travel.
