Freeride World Tour : Fieberbrunn

The Freeride World Tour is a global winter event featuring the best Freeride skiers and snowboarders competing over 5 main events to see who takes the crown of FWT Rider of the Year. Riders are judged on their line, speed, fluidity and style (including air time and tricks) over a single mountain off-piste run from the top to bottom.

With the Japan stop completed in January, Kicking Horse (BC) is up in early February and the FWT then crosses to Europe reaching Fieberbrunn, Austria 22-28th February (weather window). After this, the tour heads to Andorra before climaxing in Verbier, Switzerland where the overall winner will be crowned.

The mighty north face of Fieberbrunn’s Hausberg (Home Mountain), the Wildseeloder is the venue for Austria’s only main FWT event and is a great venue with an excellent set up for spectators. Save the date : 22-28.2.19!
