There are a huge number of events taking place across the Alps from November to April ranging from high adrenaline sports to Alpine lifestyle. Here are our top picks for the season ahead.

FIS Ski World CUP – Saalbach 20/12/18

With too much snow at the of October in Solden, the first race of the World Cup season had to be postponed and is now re-scheduled for December 20th in Saalbach-Hinterglemm.

The Hahnenkamm Downhill – Kitzbuhel 26/1/19

The most feared Downhill Ski Race on the men’s World Cup circuit is the Hahnenkamm which takes place on the legendary Streif in Kitzbuhel on Saturday 26th January. Tens of thousands of fans flock to Kitzbuhel for the race and after-party. Think Grand Prix meets Rugby 6 Nations. www.hahnenkamm.com.

Freeride World Tour – Fieberbrunn – 20-28 February 2019

White Pearl Mountain Days – Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn. 15-31.3.19

Snowbombing – Mayrhofen - 8-13th April 2019
