4* Hotels in Austria provide a high level of comfort usually with excellent leisure facilities such as a swimming pool, Spa and wellness facilities. Cuisine is of a higher standard than in 3* Hotels with more extensive, international and varied menus. 5* Hotels have reached the highest levels of service, comfort and quality in Austria and are some of the finest luxury hotels in Europe with outstanding facilities.
3* Hotels are often family-run and typically offer a very good standard of traditionally-decorated ensuite accommodation normally on a half board basis. These hotels usually have their own a la carte restaurant, a house bar and some leisure facilities such as a sauna or steam room.
Traditional Pensions are typically family-run bed and breakfast guesthouses offering comfortable ensuite accommodation. Whilst not officially categorised, standards are usually comparable to 2*/3* Hotels. All of our ski resorts have a wide choice of traditional and international restaurants and eating out in Austria is great value. We also offer some high quality self-catering apartments in the resorts of Fieberbrunn and St Johann in Tirol.
From the ski-in, ski-out designer 4* Alpine Resort to family-run bed and breakfast guesthouses and boutique alpine lodges, Fieberbrunn offers the widest choice of accommodation and is great for ski weekends and short breaks.
Kitzbühel’s hotel offerings are mostly 4* Hotels most of which offer excellent spa and wellness facilities. Hotel quality, style and service are consistent with the reputation of this world-famous resort.
Located just a few kilometres from Kitzbühel and accessing exactly the same ski area, Kirchberg has some great hotels in the 3* and 4* categories with prices keener than the premium rates typical of Kitzbühel.
The centre of Saalbach offers a cluster of 4* Hotels and handful of 3* Hotels. Hinterglemm offers slightly better value and for a quieter base with access into the same ski area, Leogang is worth a look.
Hotel choices in Sölden range from 4*+ Spa hotels to B&B guesthouses and most enjoy a central location along the main road or just over the river (quieter). Most hotels are within walking distance of the Giggijoch or Gaislachkogel lifts which are located at each end of the resort.
Most of the Stubai valley’s hotels are in Fulpmes, Milders and the main resort of Neustift in the centre of the valley. From cosy, family-run Pensions to traditional 3* and 4* hotels, the Stubai valley offers a great choice of quality, good value accommodation.
From traditional Hotels to designer, contemporary alpine new-builds, St Anton offers a great choice of accommodation. Prices are at a premium in this uber-popular resort and weekend availability is extremely limited.
We offer a choice of traditional and modern Alpine Hotels in Zell am See-Kaprun with the Hotels on offer in Zell am See within walking distance of the lifts. In Kaprun, all of our Hotels are walking distance to the resort centre and close to a ski bus stop for the short hop to the glacier.
