The 4* Hotel Grosslehen enjoys a peaceful location on a sunny plateau above Rosenegg, a village within the village of Fieberbrunn. There is plenty of free car parking and the Hotel offers a complimentary minibus shuttle to and from the main Fieberbrunn lift station.
Our ski hire shop at the foot of the slopes offers ski lockers / depot with 24/7 access.
There is also a free ski bus service that runs through Fieberbrunn and the surrounding area and the nearest ski bus stop is in Rosenegg, less than 10 minutes walk from the Hotel.
The Hotel boasts more than 300 years of family-owned history and the Geisl Family have mapped its evolution from farm house to small guesthouse to its present day 4* Hotel status. The latest renovations in 2015 included updating the reception, bar and restaurant areas with a contemporary, boutique Alpine feel and the addition of an extensive Spa area with panoramic views across the valley.
The hotel features a lobby reception (lift passes can be purchased at reception), hotel lounge and bar, Panoramic restaurant, a la carte restaurant, lift, ski and boot room, fitness room and free car parking. There is free WiFi available for guests and major credit cards are accepted.
Offering amazing views over Rosenegg and across the valley to the Loferer Steinberge mountains, the hotel’s Spa area offers an oasis of relaxation and includes a number of different Saunas, steam room, large relaxation room, terrace and tea bar with a selection of teas, juices and fruits.
Please note that the local tourist tax of €2.50 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
The Hotel offers just 25 rooms and around 75 beds in total with a choice of rooms from standard ‘Comfort’ double rooms and larger ‘Superior’ double rooms (pictured) to Suites. All rooms are ensuite with hairdryer, toiletries and bathrobes, phone, Sat-TV and free WiFi, most with balcony.
Accommodation is on a half board basis. An extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast including organic products is followed in the evening with a four course dinner with a choice of main course or weekly themed evenings.
As the Hotel is also part of an organic farm, the kitchen makes extensive use of local produce and the a la carte Restaurant enjoys an excellent reputation with local visitors. The wine cellar offers a great selection of fine wines, many of them Austrian and Bettina will be pleased to walk you through your selection.
The recent renovations to the Hotel coupled with the friendly, traditional hospitality and service make this a great choice for couples and families looking for a true slice of Austria in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Great views, great food and superb Spa area.
